Tasks
After giving an in depth lesson about the senses students wills be able to determine how many senses they can use to explore an item by checking off their list. Students will also be able to create a spreadsheet using Excel with the teacher.
Process
- Start by giving a brief lesson on the 5 senses.
- Afterwards, provide students with clickers.
- Using Kahoot the teacher will show pictures of objects and students must pick an answer using their clickers on how many senses they can use to explore that object.
- After this activity, the teacher will set up centers with different objects.
- Students will go around with their checklist draw the object and check off how many senses they used to explore the item.
- After students are done they will share their answers with the teacher while they create a spreadsheet as a class using Excel.
